About the Rausser College of Natural Resources
The Stone Center is housed within the Rausser College of Natural Resources (RCNR) at UC Berkeley. RCNR has been an academic leader in the natural and social sciences for over 50 years and is ranked 3rd for environmental science graduate programs in the U.S.
Within RCNR, the Stone Center brings together top faculty and students for the open exchange of ideas and high-level, collaborative learning. We foster the next generation of conservation leaders by offering classes, providing student fellowships & grants, and hosting a variety of speakers and scholars.
About the The James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Foundation
The mission of The James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Foundation is to promote a more knowledgeable and inclusive society, with a special emphasis on environmental sustainability and the mitigation of wealth inequality. A generous gift from the Foundation enabled the establishment of the Stone Center for Environmental Stewardship at UC Berkeley.
